The Artist
There's no guest artist this month, so the founder is stepping up. Little Moses Jones is a Colorado multi-instrumentalist, producer, bandleader and author, and the man behind every Urban Bread Co loaf.
He started playing music at age five. In more than three decades he's played saxophone, keyboards, contrabass, drums and tuba at over 1,500 shows, leading bands that blend funk, soul, R&B and urban grooves. His award-nominated album LEGENDARY topped the Latin Jazz, R&B, Funk & Blues charts.
He's also the author of Uncovering Evil, Against All Odds and The Silent Encore, and the creative force behind the animated series Fat Girl & Tooter. Every bread we bake carries a little of that rhythm.

The Signature Bread
Moses' pick for the month: a bright lemon loaf with tart raspberries baked through, a buttery crumble on top and a lemon glaze to finish. Sweet, tart and a little crunch in every slice.

Each month we partner with a Colorado creative — musician, visual artist, poet, or community figure — whose work resonates with our mission.
We sit down with the artist and design a bread that captures their personality, their flavor, their story. Every ingredient is intentional.
The signature bread is available for the full month. We also host at least one live event with the artist — music, tasting, community.
We're always looking for our next collaboration. If you know a Colorado creative who deserves a spotlight — or if that's you — nominate them. Every submission is read.
